Birger Stamperdahl joined Give2Asia in 2006 and has served as its President & CEO since 2014. Birger works directly with donors, foundations, and corporations seeking to build strategic charitable partnerships across the Asia-Pacific.  As a leading advocate for locally-led philanthropy, Birger has spoken to audiences at Stanford PACS, the World Affairs Council, the Council on Foundations, the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network, and the Conference Board.

Prior to joining Give2Asia, Birger had a successful PR career in Silicon Valley. As a Vice President at Porter Novelli, a global marketing and communications firm, he advised such clients as HP, EMC, McAfee, and BMC. Birger holds degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of New Hampshire.

Sheena Agarwal leads Give2Asia’s core services and programs. Her portfolio includes corporate and family giving, grant operations and compliance, nonprofit partner services, and disaster campaigns. Sheena brings over 15 years of experience in international development and program management for both private and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Give2Asia, she worked primarily with USAID-funded projects in a variety of sectors, including civil society strengthening, local governance, and environmental management. She has a Master’s degree in International Development from American University in Washington, D.C.

Edna Bartolome joins Give2Asia to oversee all aspects of finance, human resources and information technology for the organization. Her role includes asset management, grant funds administration, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting to the board and the public. She also supports human resources and information technology needs of Give2Asia. Edna brings 14 years of experience and commitment in the humanitarian aid sector, including seven years at Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). She has also held finance roles in aviation, freight transportation and public accounting. Edna holds a CPA certificate and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Anita Toy has over 13 years’ experience in corporate giving and private philanthropy. She joined Give2Asia (USA) in 2017 as a Country Advisor connecting international donors and philanthropists to charitable causes in Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to joining Give2Asia, Anita worked for the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group for 14 years where she managed the organisation’s community investment program across 32 countries and strategically partnered with charitable organisations to achieve social impact. Anita holds a Bachelor Degree in Business.

Minnie Yeung joined Give2Asia in 2019 to lead Give2Asia Foundation Limited in Hong Kong SAR PRC. Her role is to ensure that the Foundation serves the local community’s needs, working with donors, family foundations, major corporations, local partners, and networking with high net-worth individuals. Before joining Give2Asia, Minnie founded a successful media group. Minnie trained as a classical pianist at the Beijing Music Academy.

Keith Weissglass is responsible for accelerating Give2Asia’s philanthropic mission to support local charities and communities across the Asia-Pacific. His portfolio includes brand, communication, product marketing, online giving, and demand generation. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Keith served in leadership roles across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, he was the product marketing lead at three successful software startups. Keith holds an MBA from the University of California, Davis and a BA in psychology magna cum laude from Haverford College.

Alex works with Give2Asia's corporate donors to accomplish their philanthropic goals and connect them to a wide array of local organizations in the Asia-Pacific region. She brings a wealth of experience in international grantmaking to the team, and she’s passionate about prioritizing local knowledge. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Alex worked with organizations such as the Coalition for the International Criminal Court, Partnerships for Trauma Recovery, the International Organization for Migration, and others. She holds a bachelors degree in French Literature from the University of Notre Dame, and a masters degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Queensland. In her spare time, she likes to go on week-long hiking trips, bake bread, and collect obscure facts so she can win at trivia.

Alexie Ferreria Mercado oversees grantmaking operations, including process improvement and Give2Asia's Country Advisor team. She joined Give2Asia in 2012 as a Field Advisor for the Philippines and has also managed the Fiscal Sponsorship and Disaster Response programs. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Alexie was with the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium, an independent association that supported the growth and development of philanthropy in the Asia Pacific region. Alexie completed her Master’s degree in International Relations in the Brussels campus of the University of Kent, Canterbury. She is also a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Annly helps donors achieve their international giving goals. She originally joined Give2Asia in May 2020 as the Office Administrator. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Annly worked in project management in the construction industry. She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Jose State University.

Avi Rembulan manages Give2Asia’s disaster programs and campaigns throughout Asia. She also serves as the Country Advisor for Indonesia and manages Country Advisors in the East Asia region. Avi has nearly 20 years of experience in the development sector. Her professional background includes developing, managing, and overseeing disaster-related and community development programs in various non-profits in Indonesia. Before joining Give2Asia, Avi led the climate adaptation program initiation for The Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF). She holds a Master of Arts in International Politics and Economic Development from ISS in the Hague, Netherlands.

Batbold Zagdragchaa has over 15 years of experience in project management, program development, social science research and project evaluation. Prior to joining Give2Asia, he led International Development Research Center (IDRC, Canada) - funded mega project, to enhance use of information technologies in the education, governance and livelihoods sectors of Mongolia. He also managed a local NGO, which aimed to promote Mongolia’s relationships with the Asia-Pacific region. Batbold holds a Master’s degree in International and Development Economics from the University of Namur, Belgium.

Bindu brings to Give2Asia more than two decades of experience in the development sector in both grassroots and donor organizations. Her past experience includes grants management; research, monitoring and evaluation; building evidence-based social and behavior change communication campaigns; generating business for organizations; capacity building of different stakeholders; and developing user-friendly knowledge management products. She holds a Masters and Bachelors degree in Sociology.

As a Program Manager Assistant in Give2Asia's China Representative Office, Cao Muhan is responsible for managing assigned programs/grants and supporting the China team. She previously worked as an associate financial manager in charge of accounting and tax management in a life-insurance company. Cao's experience includes managing general ledgers, carrying out internal and external financial reports, examining and verifying invoices for reimbursement, and assisting with financial analysis.

Christine Leong Knight works closely with Give2Asia's Finance and Operations team to design and maintain the systems and infrastructure of the human resource and finance setup. After spending more than a decade working in the publishing industry for startups and global brands in Asia and Europe, Christine brings her administration and management experience to the Operations team at Give2Asia with an emphasis on talent empowerment and process improvement.

As a Philanthropy Associate, Emily supports the stewardship of Give2Asia's corporate donors. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Emily worked in the non-profit sector serving refugees and migrants as they transition to their lives in the United States. She has interacted with and implemented Office of Refugee Resettlement grants across private agencies and has served as both a case manager and program coordinator on these projects. Emily earned her bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College in International Studies and Spanish and is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship.

Eva is responsible for corporate partnerships, resources development and domestic program management for Give2Asia HK Foundation. Eva has over 20 years of experience in business, marketing communications and talent developments. She received her Bachelor of Social Sciences in University of Bradford, UK.

Fanny Chan has worked over 20 years in both the public and commercial sectors. With her prior job engagements, she developed a wealth of expertise in financial and investment management with particular strengths in areas over financial planning & analysis, treasury and loan operation, audit and controls, system developments as well as long-term financial strategy. She provides practical advice and a broad range of professional financial services and administrative support to Give2Asia and its partners.

Jared Tham collaborates with Asia-based corporate donors for Give2Asia. As a partnerships specialist, he has worked with intermediaries in the non-profit sector, such as the Lien Centre for Social Innovation and the Community Foundation of Singapore, to create partnerships for social impact.
Jared holds a Master of Tri-Sector Collaboration from SMU as well as a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University. In his spare time, he reads broadly, goes for hillside runs, and plays the djembe.

As an advisor on Give2Asia's Family Philanthropy team, Jill helps individual donors achieve their international giving goals. In her previous roles at Give2Asia, Jill oversaw Give2Asia's advisor network across 23 countries and served as a Regional Advisor. Jill has 15 years of international experience in diverse industries including sports, state government, and non-profits. She is also a published author and public speaker. Her book “Quiet is A Superpower” was a #1 bestseller and is being translated into different languages. Jill is a fellow of Harvard SEED for Social Innovation and was featured in Girls in Tech Taiwan 40 Under 40 in 2018.  Jill holds a Master's degree in Sports Management from University of Minnesota. She is based in Taipei.

Juanita is passionate about developing sustainable programs to empower women and vulnerable populations in Indonesia. She has experience in managing and implementing large complex projects, donors, and other key stakeholders within the project portfolio. Juanita has twenty years of overseas working experience in Project Management, Logistic Supply Chain, and Disaster Risk Management in health sectors, mainly with an international nonprofit organization across Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Julia is the Office Administrator at Give2Asia. Previously, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Philanthropic Ventures Foundation in Oakland, CA. Her passion for helping others has lead her to the non-profit sector where she has worked as an office professional for over 3 years.

A management professional with extensive broad range of experience in strategic and business planning areas including budget planning, customer pricing, retail margin management, competitive benchmarking, data analytics, project management/deployment; performed marketing and analytical support across multiple business units in various Asia Pacific countries for Chevron before joining Give2Asia. In addition to the commercial experience, Karen is also a part time lecturer at tertiary educational institutions, responsible for undergraduate and post-graduate courses on “Financial Management and Accounting” areas.

Kimberley has worked extensively in Asia and Africa in the areas of poverty reduction, health, gender, community development and participation in NGOs, governments, and the private sector. She has provided technical inputs on projects for ASEAN, Asian Development Bank, World Bank, Australian government and various country governments, international and local NGOs, and international consulting firms. Kimberley was an advisor to the Australian government for 10 years to assess NGOs working in international development for accreditation for government grants. Kimberley has a PhD in immunology from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science in Medicine from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney.

Li Xing brings a wealth of experience from the energy, commodity and financial sectors to his role in Give2Asia. Previously, he was in the business sector and has been working in investment bank and trading companies for more than 15 years in organizations such as Deutsche Bank, BP and Mercuria Group in Beijing and Singapore. Li Xing holds a MBA from Durham Business School in the UK.

Lim Siv Hong is a social development specialist with 20 years of experience working with International Non-Government Organizations, partnering with government agencies, NGOs, and stakeholders at the subnational level with various development projects. She has extensive experience in grant management, and has strengthened the capacity of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), particularly working to promote CSOs accountability and professionalism. She has also provided technical assistance to partner organizations on project design, planning, implementation and evaluation concerning Women Empowerment, Education Program, Labor Migration and Counter-Trafficking to promote good governance among the civil society organizations.
She holds a BS in Agriculture from the Royal University of Chamkar Dong, Cambodia, and a M.A. in Management of Rural Development from Khorn Kean University, Thailand, and Fellowship Certificate on Pedagogy Skill from Ukraina University, Russia, and Chevening certificate on Government Relation with NGOs and Civil Society in the UK.

Ly Tran manages the relationship with one of Give2Asia’s biggest donors with philanthropic footprint across 10 countries in Asia Pacific. An anthropologist by training, Ly had worked extensively in international development. Ly started her career serving indigenous Quechua communities in Peru. She then worked for a number of United Nations organizations (UNICEF, UNESCO, FAO, ILO) and international NGOs for over a decade. In 2008, she co-founded ThreeTrees, a volunteer network that supported children with disabilities in Vietnam. Ly holds an MA in Public Policy and International Development from the Netherlands and Spain.

Marianna Fernando-Pacua has over 10 years of experience working with private sector-led development initiatives in climate finance, environment and social sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. She has previously worked with both non-profits and the business sector, including Ayala Foundation, Bank of the Philippine Islands, International Finance Corp, and Cebu Pacific Air. Hanna has a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology and Social Development from the University of the Philippines Los Banos, and earned her Masters of Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Open University. She is also an alumna of the Beahrs Environment Leadership Program (ELP) at the University of California at Berkeley.

Meiling serves as an Associate Program Manager's in Give2Asia's China Representative Office. Prior to joining Give2Asia, she worked in the education field and engaged in volunteer work in Sri Lanka, the U.K., and parts of China. Meiling holds a Masters in Education from University College London and a B.A. in English Linguistics from China University of Petroleum.

Mi Nan joined Give2Asia’s Beijing Representative Office in 2018 as a financial manager. She is responsible for financial, tax and due diligence of the Beijing Representative Office, and monitors the whole process. Prior to joining the Beijing Representative Office, Mi Nan worked at the Galaxaco China Group Beijing office. This is a representative office of a wholly-owned US company in China that entered China in 1995 and invests in China for large global enterprises or investors. At the Beijing office, she conducted due diligence in the early stage, coordinated communication with government departments and banks, and supervised the project in the later stages.

Myat Myat Mon has more than five years of work experience in international development. As a Philanthropy Associate for Asia, she supports grants administration and the stewardship of corporate donors. Prior to joining Give2Asia, she worked for USAID-funded program in Myanmar, managing the grantees and program implementation activities. She completed her Master in Public Policy degree from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

Parul Sachdeva leads grant management to grantees and in-country donors in India. Parul has over a decade of experience in social sector grant making, project management, monitoring and evaluation, and corporate social responsibility. Prior to joining Give2Asia, Parul worked in grant management and corporate social responsibility with Charities Aid Foundation India and Indo Global Social Service Society (IGSSS). She also supported child right programs for CRY and Plan International, addressing education, malnutrition, early childhood care, survival and protection issues. Parul received her Master's degree in Social Work and Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Delhi University.

Qistina has extensive experience working across multiple sectors including government, consultancies and think tanks on issues related to international development, such as social movements in Malaysia and Thailand, Malaysia’s Role in South-South Cooperation, indicators for measuring women’s economic empowerment. She previously worked on an ASEAN youth initiative that involved regional workshops and summits in Southeast Asia, harnessing her skills in project management, intercultural relations, and public outreach. Qistina has experience in managing grants and regional programs on digital literacy, youth empowerment and women leadership. She recently obtained her Master's Degree from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.

Rose joined Give2Asia's Hong Kong SAR office in 2019. She has more than 12 years of nonprofit management experience across international NGOs and local charities in Hong Kong, with a focus in poverty alleviation and sustainable development. Rose holds a Master degree from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. She earned her BA in Business Management from Leeds Beckett University.

Dr. Tamang has over two decades of work experience in non-profit [NGO] sector with specific knowledge in project management, research and social development. He has a PhD in Social Welfare (USA), and a Masters’ Degree in Health, Population and Nutrition (UK). He has a unique blend of academia, research and management experience for managing development, research and advocacy projects. He has worked with diverse populations in Nepal, Hawaii and the US Affiliated Pacific Islands. His passion and research/scholarship goals are to serving the under-served, geographically challenged (rural) and resource limited communities; and promoting social justice and equity. He currently works for Nick Simons Institute as a researcher and also serves on board of directors for NGOs in Nepal.

Tan Jun has 20 years of experience working in financial management, auditing, project investment and risk control. At Give2Asia, Tan Jun is responsible for project risk control, financial management of Give2Asia’s China Representative Office, communication with relevant government departments, and overseeing daily operations. He also maintains good relations with government departments, banks, and other authorities.

Luna is responsible for managing G2A China programs on a wide range of program areas, providing donor stewardship and grant making related services, developing and delivering other advisory services, and providing support to the whole China team. Previously, she worked on business cooperation and project management in environmental and energy-saving industry and worked on business cooperation in a commercial trading company.

Thamonpat has over 20 years of diverse experience working with international and local NGOs, academics, and the airline business. She has a passion for the transformation of NGOs and social enterprise in terms of sustainability. Thamonpat holds a master's degree from Aalborg University, Denmark, in development and international relations. Her bachelor's degree is from Thammasat University, Thailand, in Political Science (international relations). In addition, she's participated in courses and internships in Europe and UN HQ in NYC, USA.

Thinley Choden is a social entrepreneur and an independent consultant. In addition to her work at Give2Asia, Thinley manages a boutique impact travel company, freelances as a film producer, and advocates for social entrepreneurship and impact investment.
In 2008, Thinley founded READ Bhutan, a non-profit which she grew and managed until 2014. She has also worked for Acumen Fund and for WFP in Bhutan and New York.
Thinley holds a Wharton Executive Certificate in Strategic Decision Making, a MPA from University of Hawaii, and a post-graduate Leadership certificate from East-West Center in Hawaii. She has a BA Economics from Beloit College, Wisconsin.

Towfique is passionate about empowering vulnerable groups and envisions transforming societies to build an inclusive, peaceful and prosperous world. He has over a decade of experience with different international and national groups, including U.S. Department of State, UN WFP, Commonwealth Secretariat, non-profit and private sector. His experience includes multi-stakeholder coordination, program management, platform management, market system development, grant management and consultancy. Towfique is the founder of the South Asian Youth Society (SAYS). He holds an MA in Globalisation, Business and Development under Institute of Development Studies (IDS) from University of Sussex, UK, and another Master degree on Public Policy and Governance.

Tiffany holds a Master's in International Education Development from University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford. Prior to Give2Asia, she worked in the private sector developing social impact partnerships. Her previous experiences include interning with UNICEF's Education and Nutrition sections in Timor-Leste and working with Bay Area education nonprofits.

Wanning Chen is passionate about non-profit management and sustainability, developing resources for social issues, and seeking systematic change to establish an inclusive society. Her professional experience includes program management, fundraising, partnership management, and volunteer management across international aid, environmental protection, and social welfare organizations. Wanning is a fellow of Harvard SEED for Social Innovation (2018), and a Professional Fellow (2018) of the United States Department of State. She holds the MPA degree at University College London (UCL) and a MSc degree in building and planning (College of Engineering) at National Taiwan University.

Winson Gnanatheepan joined Give2Asia as a Country Advisor Sri Lanka in January 2022. He is an Urban Planner by Profession and a Corporate Member of the Institute of Town Planners Sri Lanka. He has experience in working projects funded by World Bank, ADB, USAID, IFC, ADH, UNICEF, UNDP, etc in the capacity of either as Specialist Consultant or Project Manager. He has over 12 years of experience in the fields of Urban Planning, Tourism Development, Community Development, Project Management, Resettlement Planning, Disaster Management and Environmental Management.

Xuemei Wang is Give2Asia's Senior Accountant. Prior to joining the organization, she worked as a financial analyst and accountant for three different companies where she performed revenue forecasts, conducted budget planning, and provided financial analysis support. Xuemei has a Masters degree in Taxation and bachelor degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and cooking.

Yvette Camba manages Give2Asia’s Friends Fund program. She also provides administrative support, monitors and updates grant portfolios with Give2Asia grantees, and conducts research for business development and background checks for due diligence requirements.

Previously, Yvette worked at the International Finance Corporation working with both private and public sector projects. She then moved to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on policy and development programs in partnership with the Government of the Philippines. A nurse by profession, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from San Beda University Manila in 2011 and earned her professional license in the same year.
