HELP OUR MILITARY ORPHANS CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION EVEN AMIDST THE THREAT OF COVID 19
Our men and women in uniform continue to be at the forefront of the fight against Covid 19. Our valiant military personnel have been assisting the government in transporting medical supplies and personnel protective equipment, building quarantine facilities, providing transportation for essential workforce, installing mobile kitchens for the needy, manning checkpoints, and ensuring the safe distribution of financial and in-kind aid to our brothers and sisters in need. In the midst of these efforts, we honor the sacrifice of our soldiers who, despite the crisis, continue to die at the hands of the enemies of the state in Sulu, Aurora, and Negros Occidental.
HERO Foundation has been helping the children and dependent siblings left behind by our military personnel who were permanently incapacitated or killed in action. Since it was founded in 1988, HERO has helped almost 3,000 orphans finish their education and pursue their dreams. More than 1,200 of these scholars have already graduated from college and are now their families’ breadwinners
As we face an uncertain future due to the current pandemic, our HERO scholars need to be secure in the knowledge that they will still be able to continue their education and still be productive members of society because they have YOU to count on.
We at HERO Foundation hope to continue to work together with you in honoring the sacrifices of their fathers, ensuring that their children’s education needs will be taken cared of.
