LICADHO is a Cambodian human rights organization with 13 offices nationwide. Since 1992, LICADHO has been at the forefront of efforts to protect and promote civil, political, economic, and social rights in Cambodia. LICADHO monitors human rights violations by the state, land grabbing, and abuse of women and children, and provides victims with legal advice or representation, medical assistance, and material support. LICADHO’s Prison Project monitors prison conditions and assists pre-trial detainees as well as child prisoners, pregnant detainees, and mothers detained with their young children. LICADHO also supports grassroots groups and networks with advocacy and human rights information trainings.
